The Age of Surveillance Capitalism
This book does an unmatched job of bringing Capitalist critique into the information age. It will require a higher reading level, but Zuboff does a great job of contextualizing what she calls surveillance Capitalism by referencing and explaining the historical development of Capitalism.
I enjoyed this book as an audiobook on the Libby app.

Communists have historically used the word “Socialism” to describe government ownership and regulation of industry.
Today’s leftists use “Socialism” to describe a worker-ownership model that will lead us out of Capitalism while advocating for a strong welfare state.
